The Tipo 105 Berlina was introduced in 1968 as a less sporty and more luxurious evolution of the 105 Giulia. The twin cam engine was enlarged to 1. 8lt to handle the longer wheelbase of a smoother contoured body. Three years into production the engine capacity was bored out even further to 1962 cc that delivered 132bhp and 182Nm to a Torsen limited slip differential. Named as Berlina 2000, it sported revised healights, tailight clusters and grill. Special emphasis was given to comfort via better seat support, more legible gauges over wooden dash and an air conditioner.
