I was excited to finally visit the iconic Pulitzer Amsterdam (http://www.pulitzeramsterdam.com). It's a world-class luxury hotel and is the best place to stay in the city. The luxury hotel is made up of 25 canal houses, all joined together. It sits on two canals and has a great, modern luxury style. Here's a tour of one of the hotel's Classic Generous Rooms, so called because it has an upstairs loft bedroom. This was room 505.
I visited Amsterdam at the end of an amazing Viking river cruise (ingrivercruises.com/) down the Rhine River. The cruise was called the Rhine Gateway and it was a wonderful experience.
