The ocean waves, cannon fire, and sailing mechanics felt incredibly real for a game of its time. I never expected to enjoy naval combat this much! Even as a beginner, the controls felt smooth and intuitive, and I had a blast learning the ropes—both literally and figuratively. Ubisoft really nailed the feeling of commanding your own ship and facing enemies in the open sea.

What makes Black Flag special is how it blends the stealth and parkour elements of classic Assassin’s Creed with the freedom and chaos of pirate life. Edward is not your typical assassin—he’s reckless, charming, and full of ambition. That makes him really fun to play as. In this first episode, I also get to explore a bit of the island and try out the combat system on land. The sword fights are intense, and the world feels rich with detail and atmosphere.

I’ve always loved games that give you both freedom and story, and Black Flag delivers on both fronts. Whether you're sailing the high seas or sneaking through a jungle, there's always something exciting around the corner. As someone experiencing it for the first time, every little moment feels fresh and thrilling. My reactions are completely genuine—every explosion, every plot twist, every discovery is new to me, and I hope that makes this series fun for you to watch as well.
