Theme: In January 2004, the composer was knocked down by a private car 5-7 mins after a church service while heading home and became unconscious or passed out. He was hospitalised for a number of weeks and used walking aids for 9 months before the plaster cast was removed from his limbs. Summarily, the song relates how God's Biblical finger, as witnessed by the Israelites in Egypt and the wilderness (Exodus 8.19), sustained the artist's life during this tragic moment. The chorus is an expression of God's glory and praise following this miraculous survival of the road traffic accident amid eminent death.
