Some of my patients have heard horror stories of being inappropriately touched under anesthesia during surgery. These are terrible, but also very rare.
During surgery, the operating room has many personnel. The anesthesiologist, surgeon, scrub tech, OR nurse, and any device reps or neuromonitoring specialty services. If something inappropriate happens, many will see it, and we are obligated to report.
The time things DO happen down there is when the surgery is supposed to be down there, like surgeries related to gynecology, urinary, kidney, or other issues.
