Step-by-step assembly, first power-up, troubleshooting and final test of a low-voltage Mini-ZVS induction heater DIY kit (5–12V, up to ~10A / ≈120W).
Circuit overview
• Self-oscillating ZVS driver with two MOSFETs
• Copper work coil + polypropylene resonant capacitors
• Powered from a 5–12V DC supply (high current — use thick wires and a capable PSU)
In this build the heater didn’t start on the first try — the faulty part replaced and heater retested.

Safety
The coil and MOSFETs get very hot; currents are high. Use eye protection, keep flammables away, and don’t touch the coil while powered.
