This video outlines EOS Ecology’s role as the Provider Organisation for Waitaha/Canterbury within the Wai Connection – Tatai Ki Te Wai programme.
Subcontracted by the Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust, EOS delivered regional implementation of the programme through direct, day-to-day engagement with community and catchment groups across the region. Hui and wānanga brought together iwi, councils, and regional stakeholders to support coordinated catchment-scale initiatives.
Our multidisciplinary team integrated freshwater science, geospatial systems, workflow automation, science interpretation, and structured engagement processes to support coordinated, data-informed catchment action grounded in locally led priorities.
This regional delivery role complemented EOS’s National Technical Support responsibilities, demonstrating capability in both environmental systems design and coordinated on-the-ground implementation at catchment scale.
