This is an automated high-speed parcel sorting solution provided to a top Indian logistics and e-commerce supply chain company. The sorting process comprises of:

1. bulk loading of parcels.
2. Orientation to keep the barcode on top.
3. Automatic barcode scanning by overhead scanners.
4. Primary sorting by swing arm sorter.
5. Secondary sorting by put to light system.
6. Bag closing.
7. Label print and applying it on the bag.
8. Transferring the closed bags to the bagging conveyor.

During the primary sorting, the parcels moving on a plastic modular conveyor are diverted to the chutes by electric arms. During the secondary sorting, the operator collects the parcels/boxes from the chutes and scans them using the handheld barcode scanner. Based on the light illumination, he places them in the PTL racks.
