And the musicians in this video never played or practiced this song together before? Yep, that's right. Every song in a Soundhaus session is a different group of musicians who perform it one time.... one time only.

So what is a Soundhaus session?

What you are seeing in the video is every musician accepting the challenge and thrill of the Soundhaus format.

Which is.....
Players pick song parts from a local, session themed song list on the Soundhaus website / app.
Song parts assigned 2 weeks out from the "live" session.
Most players (instrumentalists and singers) average 3-5 songs per session.
No group rehearsal.
Everyone preps on their own.
Coordinate with songmates using the Soundhaus message board for each song.
Show up on the session night. Have a blast.

The song, like what you see in this video, is never to be duplicated with the same players again. What you see is the musician accepting the fun challenge of a one-time, unique experience that becomes highly rewarding when it all works out.......which it does.......(most of the time).
