Define Namaste

Описание: Have you ever wondered "what does namaste mean in English?" In this video, I define namaste and share with you the simple & beautiful message the word and accompanying gesture conveys.

In yoga namaste is said at the end of each class to close the practice, showing appreciate & gratitude to not only the instructor, but to all the other students and souls in the room sharing in the practice of yoga together.

Many people in the West have heard the word but are curious of the namaste definition, and it can be very simply put as "I honor the divinity within you." It's a Sanskrit word but using namaste in English still carries the universal message of "my soul acknowledges and honors your soul."

With this knowledge, you no longer have to wonder about the namaste translation! Now that you know and understand the namaste meaning yoga can become a deeper & more soulful practice for you.
