On April 21, 2018, Special Olympics Southern California hosted the Pomona Valley Area Games at the Boys Republic in Chino Hills, CA. During the Games, Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine, Healthy Athletes put on a successful Special Smiles program. Over 65 Special Olympic athletes had a dental screening by our very own WesternU CDM graduating seniors, and both the WesternU volunteers and athletes took advantage of the nice weather and awesome DJ and integrated a “Cupid Shuffle” along the way.
