Supertech Case So Far: Supreme Court Had Ordered Builders To Pay Back Buyers With Interest

Описание: Over 100 homebuyers were locked in a decade long deal battle with Super Tech builders. On Wednesday the Supreme Court gave an ultimatum to the Supertech builders almost five months after it had ordered the demolition of the twin towers in Noida. The top court has finally asked the buyers to pay back the money by Monday or go to jail. Further, the refund has to be made without any deduction and with interest. "This is a landmark judgement by the apex court. There is a strong message sent by the Supreme Court in this case," says Advocate Shirish Deshpande, Consumer lawyer.
