Trying to get back into elevation hikes— with a toddler in toll…
Hiking was a weekly favorite activity of mine, and I have missed it dearly.
I made a promise to myself and my family that this summer, We Outside! And we are going UP!!
Now that my toddler is over 2 years old, and a fast and steady mover, there is no better time than now to expose him to the joy, that is challenging hiking.
Bodenburg Butte has 2 trailheads— this one starts on a private property and is about 1/2 a mile shorter but steeper. The other side is called West Bodenburg—incase you are interested. And it has stairs (from what I’ve heard).
