Angkor Wat - Small Circuit Tour With A Stunning Sunset

Описание: The Angkor Wat Archaeological Park is the largest known temple complex on earth. The Angkor complex location is in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It contains temples and structures of the Khmer Empire, that span over 400 square kilometers. Now that’s gigantic!

This has been on our bucket list for a while. And, while we were researching it, we found that there’s more to this UNESCO site… than just the Angkor Wat Temple. There’s so much more to see.

So, to make it easier for tourists to see the amazing temples and Angkor ruins… there is an Angkor Wat Small Circuit and an Angkor Wat Grand Circuit. We did both circuits.

Yet, in this We Drink Eat Travel YouTube video… we had to share with you our experiences of the small circuit. And, WOW, it sure was an amazing adventure. In some parts, it was like being on the set of a Hollywood movie… from Raiders of the Lost Arc or Tomb Raider.

Plus, to finish off, we had to witness for ourselves the sunset at Angkor… overlooking the mountains and Phnom Bakheng Temple.

Below is the standard route for the Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour…

3. Bapuon Temple (Angkor Thom Complex)
4. Terrace of the Elephants (Angkor Thom Complex)
5. Terrace of the Leper King (Angkor Thom Complex)

7. Chau Say Tevoda Temple
8. Ta Keo Temple
9. Ta Prohm Temple
10. Banteay Kdei Temple

8. Preah Palilay Temple (Angkor Thom Complex)
