Royal Caribbean cruises feature the FloRider wave machine - incredibly challenging and fun! Here is a compilation of my first session, featuring gnarly wipeouts, first successful ride later that day, and then progressing throughout the week on the boat. A great rider makes it look easy, so I thought I would just jump on the board and shred right away. But you can see from my early hesitation how difficult it is. The correct movements are very subtle - you have to go with the flow! My main coaching cue from the attendant was "relax!"
