Описание: When you think of Lamborghinis, you think of the sleekest, fastest, and most desirable exotic cars on the planet. You certainly don’t think of huge, road-gobbling SUVs, but that’s what you get with the Lamborghini LM002, one of the company’s most desirable vehicles and the only production vehicle from the Lamborghini Militaria series. The LM002 was manufactured between 1986 and 1993 and despite its novelty, it wasn’t actually their first swing at making an SUV. They made two different prototype SUVs before the LM002: the Cheetah and the LM001. Both vehicles were poorly received military prototypes that used American engines.

When designing and manufacturing the LM002, Lamborghini decided to use the V12 engine from the Countach. The American version of the LM002 was even more powerful, borrowing its engine from the DIablo and pumping out just under 500HP. This would make the LM002 one of the most powerful SUVs of its time since other contemporaneous SUVs didn’t pass the 200HP barrier. It also featured an upgraded interior and the signature Pirelli Scorpion tires that could drive on sand even if they were deflated, Those tires have long since been out of production, though Pirelli did create a new set for modern LM002 owners. The LM002 was one of the craziest vehicles on the road back then and the passage of time hasn’t dulled its craziness despite the fact that Lamborghini has another SUV in its lineup: the Urus.
