Judge to Repeat DWI Offender: 'Please Don't Kill Someone

Описание: Eighteen defendants. One judge. One morning. In this episode of Chambers with Carol Whitfield, a woman insists she doesn't smell like weed while standing feet from the judge — and that's just the first case. From there, the docket moves through a third-strike theft revocation, a flight-risk evaluation with a GPS monitor, a rare moment where the judge finds there simply isn't enough evidence to proceed at all, and a heated argument over whose gun was actually in the vehicle.

As a retired judge, I walk you through what's really happening behind each ruling — why certain questions get asked, why some defendants walk free and others don't, and what the law actually requires at each stage.
