Yuri Ter-Osipov - Dance-Toccata (audio + sheet music)

Описание: Yuri Ter-Osipov was born on November 4, 1933, in Ganca, Azerbaijan, and died on February 16, 1986, in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from the Hajibeyov Conservatory of Azerbaijan in Baku having studied composition with Kara Karayev and children's composition with Boris Zeidman. He then taught at the Institute of Arts in Dushanbe, Tajikistan where he taught an entire generation of Tajik composers. Afterwards, he lived in Moscow, where he worked as an editor for the publishing house Sovetskiy Kompozitor. He has composed 11 symphonies, 6 different concertos, and the symphonic poem "Segokh."
