This piece starts with a recording of a young choir from Dublin - which includes Paddy Moloney's grandson - singing a popular Gaelic children's song. Low Anthem's Ben Knox Miller then sings Schooldays Over, a song about child labor in the mines.
During a world tour celebrating 50 years as one of the most celebrated traditional Irish bands in history, The Chieftains stopped by WGBH's Fraser Studio to share some tunes and have a few beers with fans and members of the WGBH Celtic Club. This is their performance of "School Days Over" from their new album Voice of Ages featuring The Low Anthem.
