In this tutorial - we will discuss “How to connect our domain to siteground”.
To connect your domain to a siteground hosting is very easy.

You can follow the steps below:

First, Go to the domain provider management. In this part, I am using namecheap as my domain provider.

Check on the name server section. We will change the name server base on the siteground hosting nameserver.

Now let’s go to the siteground user management. Go to the website menu.

Then Click, Create Website Button

Click Select on the Existing Domain Section, then you can type your domain name. After that, you can click done to go to the next step.

There will be a warning information that your domain has not been registered on siteground. It’s okay, because in this case I don’t order my domain on siteground. Just click continue.

Now you can click select on start new website section. Choose wordpress as your web platform. Then click select.

Input your username and password, then you can click continue. After that, if you wish to add siteground site scanner to protect your website, you can click add button. But, if you don’t want to add that. Just click finish to finish your word press installation on siteground.

Now, you can point your domain to your hosting by copying siteground name server to your domain management in the name server section.

Click check icon on the right side off the section, then your siteground hosting now connect to your domain.

Click Manage Site to go to the siteground hosting management, after that you can go to your website to check whether your website is online or not. Now you are done in connecting your domain to your siteground hosting.
