It comes after Foreign Ministers gathered in Melbourne for the Quad meeting, including US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“It’s brought Europe and the Indo-Pacific together,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“But the Quad meeting really shows it’s a positive agenda between the powerful democracies now, and so it’s great to see Antony Blinken and his Japanese and Indian colleagues here.”
