Описание: Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said Europe risks being sidelined as the United States pushes ahead with efforts to shape a rapid ceasefire proposal for Ukraine, warning that any settlement must involve the EU and avoid conceding to Russian demands. Speaking ahead of a meeting of EU trade ministers, Rasmussen stressed that Europe cannot accept a “peace” that amounts only to a temporary halt in fighting and insisted that decisions related to NATO and EU security cannot be negotiated exclusively between Washington, Moscow and Kyiv. He added that Europe remains committed to long-term financial and political support for Ukraine as discussions continue between U.S. and European officials.
