Wouldn't it be great to wake up in the morning, throw on some sweats, and take a walk around a dead mall without going outside? You can do that at Cray Plaza!
What a beautiful dead mall! I grew up in St. Paul, but never visited this mall until early 2024 to make this video. As with many downtown malls, one can create glorious, beautifully architected malls, but you cannot attract suburbanites if it takes more effort and costs more than a visit to a suburban mall.
While there is nothing to do in Crazy Plaza than walk around and gawk at the sites, I enjoyed taking off a couple of Friday afternoons to visit this place.
