This was a short flight at dusk. Weather in Reykjavik was 200ft overcast. Due to the short runway we had to use flaps 25 for takeoff and still had only a margin of 80 m. At the destination the forcast was for 800 broken, below the minimum of 1250 for the loc B 01 appr. The loc 01 radar approach wasn´t available, as there was nobody on the tower for radar guidance :(.
At minimum you have to make a shallow left turn towards the runway - or goaround. Have a look what we did...
