Описание: The documentary "Sniper Alley - To My Brother", directed by Cristiana Lucia Grilli and Francesco Toscani, produced by Creative Motion, tells the story of Džemil Hodžić and his extraordinary project "Sniper Alley", which collects images from world-renowned war photojournalists from the siege of Sarajevo from 1992 to 1996.

On May 3, 1995, Džemil and his brother Amel were playing outside when a sniper shot Amel straight in the chest. He died at only 16 years old in his mother's arms. From that moment, Dzemil's childhood was inevitably interrupted.

Dzemil's story is the heart of the documentary around which, like many branches of a tree, the stories of incredible human beings, real living legends, are articulated in their own direction.

Men and women who have chosen to be on the right side of history become flowers of resistance. Art, cinema, music, and culture are spiritual weapons against war and annihilation.

"Sniper Alley - to my brother" is dedicated to Amel Hodžić, who loved to draw and dreamed of becoming an artist, and to all the children of the world who, despite experiencing the horror of war, continue to dream.

Telling this story are the most authoritative voices of Italian journalism including Toni Capuozzo, Gigi Riva, Azra Nuhefendic, and internationally acclaimed photojournalists such as Thomas Hurst, Mario Boccia, Enric Martì, and world-famous artists like Fedja Stukan, Alex Elena, and Jasenko Pasic.

We also want to thank the War Childhood Museum and the Sarajevo War Theatre for their valuable collaboration.

The film is supported by the prestigious Naples Human Rights Film Festival and the Balkans and Caucasus Observatory Trans Europe, with Executive Producer being the renowned film producer Ognjen Dizdarevic.
