Brought to you by Opera Australia and Jones Theatrical, Hadestown follows two intertwining love stories — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone. The eight-time Tony Award winning musical originated as Anaïs Mitchell’s indie theatre project, along with her artistic collaborator, Rachel Chavkin. Hadestown was transformed into a genre-defying musical that blends modern American folk music with New Orleans-inspired jazz to reimagine the sweeping ancient tale of Orpheus and Eurydice.

This must-see musical stars much loved Australian performer Christine Anu as Hermes, as well as Abigail Adriano as Eurydice, Noah Mullins as Orpheus, Elenoa Rokobaro as Persephone, and Adrian Tamburini as Hades, with Fates; Sarah Murr, Jennifer Trijo, and Imani Williams.
