Mother MaryAnn Garrett, a priest at St. James Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, says The NeuroMedical Center's neurosurgeon, Dr. Greg Fautheree, came to her rescue after a brain aneurysm nearly claimed her life. She says it was a "gift from God" that she was put into Dr. Fautheree's expert hands.

Specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spinal surgery, open and endovascular treatment of brain aneurysms, thoracic surgery, spinal tumors, cranial tumors, carpal tunnel, and the ulnar nerve, Dr. Fautheree received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and then went to New Orleans to receive his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Before returning home to South Louisiana, he then completed his internship in surgery, residency in neurosurgery, and fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is now married to his lovely wife Sarah and has three beautiful children.

In September 2010 Dr. Fautheree joined The NeuroMedical Center and is board eligible in neurological surgery. An active member of several professional organizations, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons & the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Fautheree was elected Chief of Staff of The Spine Hospital of Louisiana in 2015.

He is currently accepting new patients, offering his services in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and at The NeuroMedical Center’s satellite locations in Eunice and St. Francisville. He gladly works in urgent referrals on a daily basis.
