Buying and selling watches internationally with dealers overseas can be a rather risky process full of pitfalls and perils.
Lost packages. Returned packages. Stuck packages. Import Taxes. VAT. Duties. Handling fees. Commercial Invoices. DDU. DDP.
What does it all mean? How does it all work?
Why are watch collectors being charged 10% or 15%, 20% 25% extra costs on top of the price of the watch when buying a watch from overseas?
In this (rather long) video (sorry about that) I talk about my experiences and share my knowledge when it comes to buying and selling, importing and exporting luxury watches around the world.
There is a lot that can go wrong, and there are some helpful tips to avoid getting into nightmare situations with customs, courier depots, and buyers and sellers.
