Brilliant hike in Ogwen Valley
This is a grade 1 scramble that can be used to reach Glyder Fawr or Glyder Fach. I headed to Glyder Fach and headed down the miners track, alongside #Bristlyridge
There’s also interest in scrambling up this ridge, with an option to drift leftwards onto the steepest part of the ridge (the way I went and would recommend)or rightwards where the ground is less rugged and somewhat safer.
There was a fatality on this ridge in early 2023, I believe the scrambler was on the edge of the ridge, on the leftmost side when a rock he was holding gave way. This may appear to be an easy and straightforward scramble but it can be dangerous, especially on the left side.
