How can I get my kids to sleep longer in the morning?

Описание: It sounds like you have a daughter that is waking you up bright and early in the morning around 6:15 and that can be very frustrating as a parent especially after it happens day after day. Because once your kids go to bed that's kind of your time so chances are you're going to bed late and having to get up early. So what can you do about it? There are a couple of different things you can try. If your daughter is going to bed very early in the evening then you can try adjusting her bedtime so she is going to bed a little bit later and that might make it so her body feels the need to sleep later into the morning. Say she has a bedtime of 8:00 or 8:30, maybe you could change it to 9:00 or 9:30 and that might help out a little bit. Also check out the environment. Maybe the sun is coming in her room because it's starting to get lighter earlier in the day and stay lighter at night. That could be affecting her sleep patterns. If she doesn't already have them put up some dark curtains and see if that makes a difference. Also noise, are there noises or distractions or things going on in the house or around your neighborhood that are keeping her up? That might also be a possibility. If you can do anything about those distractions try to eliminate them as much as possible. If she comes into your room and tries to talk to you and wake you up, do everything you can to encourage quiet time until it's time for you to get up. Take her back to her room, tuck her in, and if she's not going to go back to sleep you can let her read a book or do some other quiet activity in bed. Don't let her watch TV, eat breakfast, or get up and play and run around because that will reinforce the behavior and encourage her to get up in the morning.
