The newly established Banjul International Convention Centre Limited, BICC, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture in Banjul.
The visit aimed to formally introduce the institution to the Ministry, outline its mandate, and explore potential areas of collaboration in promoting The Gambia as a prime destination for conferences, tourism, and cultural exchange.
The Banjul International Convention Centre Limited manages operations at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre and the VVIP Lounge at the Banjul International Airport.
The company was established as part of government’s vision to position The Gambia as a leading Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions—MICE—destination in the subregion.
During the engagement, discussions focused on partnership opportunities that would strengthen tourism and hospitality while boosting the country’s global profile.
