In this journal entry we'll do some unboxing. I splurged earlier this year and placed a bunch of orders to AliExpress before the new tariffs kicked in. The US has removed the "de minims" exception for inexpensive items coming from China, and added a $100 (and eventually $200) minimum tariff. Being used to buying $10 worth of items at a time means that will no longer be viable. So until this all settles down it was best to stock up on some items needed for upcoming projects.
