This is the most Thrilling and adventurous trek in Vasai Virar region, at a distance of 27km from Virar. This trek has everything a trekkers wish for, lush green forest, waterfall, river, fort, beautiful landscape, what else we need.
Base village is sakwar and location is available on Google map, you can search takmak fort also in Google maps.
locals are very helpful, trail is little confusing, so it is advisable to take local guide at minimal cost.
parking space is available but there is no shops or stall in village, or in the trail, so carry sufficient water and snacks.
keep the place clear and is it less crowded hence till date it's very clean so don't litter.
Trek took 5 hrs to complete so plan your day accordingly, it is advisable to plan during monsoon or in winter, wear good grip shoes during monsoon trek, use mosquito repellent cream due to mosquitos and insects, better wear full sleeves tshirt and track pant.
