The most audacious German operation during the invasion of the Netherlands | May 1940

Описание: On the first day of the invasion in the Netherlands the German 22. Luftlande-Division landed with Heinkel 59 floaterplanes directly next to their target: the Willemsbrug over the Meuse in Rotterdam. Shortly after they were reinforced with troops that just landed on the Waalhaven. The troops were close to surrendering but managed to hold out until the arrival of the 9. Pander Division.
