The truck boasts a robust 12-cylinder engine, a powerhouse that also propelled the airplanes of that era, making it a rare artifact that marries the history of firefighting with the golden age of aviation.

Nearly fully restored and in running condition, this fire truck is a symbol of Negaunee's resilience and dedication to heritage. The town once sold this piece of history to a neighboring fire department, only to rediscover it years later, abandoned in a field. Seizing the opportunity, Negaunee reclaimed and lovingly restored the truck to its former glory.
