Today, I am going to show you the new protein skimmer that I chose for the 120 gallon mixed reef. I’ll walk you through the process of building and installing the new unit, while discussing the specifics of what I was looking for in a new skimmer, the reason I chose to upgrade and why I think this may be the very last one I will ever purchase for this setup and possibly any future reef tanks up to 500 gallons.
