Описание: It's hard to believe that the folks in Dearborn once considered having the Mustang be replaced by a Front Wheel Drive coupe built on mainly Mazda mechanicals, yet that was once the game plan. Of course wiser heads prevailed (due in no small part to Mustang fans) and since there was nothing really wrong with a Mazda-based sports coupe, we got to enjoy the Ford Probe in addition to the Mustang, i.e. the best of both worlds. Today in the Junkyard we found a wonderful loaded and low-mileage first-year example of the Probe, in this case a red 1989 GT with Mazda Turbo power under the hood. Join us as we look deeply under that hood, also in the trunk, all around the outside and of course inside as well, all the while discussing this car and others of its time.
