The network used online indoctrination, secret chats, and encrypted apps to recruit educated professionals into violent jihad. Key figures like radical cleric Imam Irfan Ahmad Wagah played a central role, with recruitment spanning Faridabad, Lucknow, and beyond. DNA, mobile tower data, and forensic evidence have linked Umar to the Red Fort i20 blast, closing the loop on the terror chain.
