Using the same platform and battery as the mainstream 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, the Optiq is a luxurious, yet affordable option for EV buyers. It has quite a lot going for it, including size, range, technology and design. This is important, because Cadillac (and GM as a whole) has been talking a big game about the Ultium technology that empowers its EVs, and has been pumping out pretty competitive battery-powered rides at a consistent pace.

In comparison, it seems like European and Asian rivals have been tip-toeing around the electric segment, ensuring that only their range-topping options have the wow-factor associated with a luxury badge.

That’s not the case with the 2025 Cadillac Optiq, which takes the luxury-car-philosophy to the max.
