Bexar County will be able to continue supplying its Immigrant Legal Defense Fund with taxpayer money.
On Friday, Judge Mary Lou Alvarez granted Bexar County’s motion that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton does not have the authority to stop the county’s Immigrant Legal Defense Fund, so $1 million of your tax dollars will continue to be spent defending people facing deportation.
