This video covers two separate night-time recoveries — both unplanned, both fun in their own way.
The first happened when I got a call about a truck, stuck next to the road with a completely failed clutch. It couldn’t move under its own power — we eventually got it rolling by keeping it in 4th gear and limping it home for the night. Erich from SuperMac Garage helped me make it happen.
The second part of the video is from another night, when I got called to help a Hummer stranded without fuel, out in the middle of nowhere during a hectic windstorm. I loaded up with fuel, headed out into the chaos, and managed to get it going again.
Both recoveries show what it’s really like out here — no flash, no fancy gear. Just helping people when stuff goes sideways.
