In an era where artificial intelligence is transforming the way we conduct and communicate research, this workshop, held on 10 November 2025, explored how AI can support researchers throughout the entire scientific process. From conducting literature reviews and analysing complex datasets to disseminating results to wider audiences, AI tools are becoming essential, but they must be used thoughtfully and responsibly.
This session, organised by the EC2U Virtual Institute for Sustainable Cities and Communities, brought together experts from across the EC2U alliance to offer PhD students practical insights into the effective and ethical use of AI in research.
