If you want to extract audio from video files with VLC media player go to me the media and select this convert or save option.

Over here find the video that you want to extract audio.
In this dropdown menu select convert.
Now in this profile section choose Audio mp3.
Choose where you want to save the converted file.
Rename your file if you want.
Click start.
Wait for a few moments, depending on how big your video is.
After the process is finished you can see that we have successfully extracted audio from video using vlc media player.
