Triund trek is one of the most famous treks in Himachal Pradesh’s Mcleodganj, Dharamshala.
Difficulty level: Easy to moderate
Trek Distance: 14 km both ways
Trek duration: 4-7 hours
Best time: Throughout the year
Overnight stay: Preferable
Solo traveller friendly: Yes
Beginner friendly: Yes
Cost breakup:
Bus from Delhi (round trip): 2000 approx
Tent (including dinner and breakfast at the top): 1000 approx
Accommodation at Mcleodganj + food: 1000
If you are going on a trek for the first time, I’d suggest you to go to Chopta since it has far better views and vibe than Triund.
Triund was overcrowded with atleast 150 people present at the camping site.
