:: Ingredients ::

Chana dal
Green chilli
Ginger
lemon blossom (nimbu ke ful)
Garlic cloves
Turmeric powder
Salt
mustard seeds
Coriander leaves
Grated coconut
Nylon sev
Pomegranate

:: Method ::

Firstly take chana dal and soak with water for 5 hours
Then transfer to mixer jar
Add green chilli , ginger , garlic and 1 tbsp water
Blend it and transfer to mixing bowl
Now add salt to taste , ¼ tbsp turmeric powder , pinch of asafoetida , 1 tbsp powdered sugar and pinch of lemon blossom
Mix it well
grease mould or plate with oil and pour the mixture into a plate
Now steam in idli steamer for 10 minutes on high flame
Once done take out the plate from the streamer and cool for 5-10 minutes
Now with the grater crumble the dhokla evenly
Khamni is ready
Now in hot kadhai with 2 tbsp oil
Add mustard seeds , green chilli , sugar and lemon blossom
Add 1 tbsp water
Now add khamni , coriander leaves and grated coconut
Mix it well
Now garnish with nylon sev and pomegranate seeds
