Here's little Steve about a week after rescue, having a little stretch and climb around. Steve is a tiny late-season baby who was found on the ground on an unusually cold morning at only three weeks old.
He's growing up and spending more time outside the incubator, but he's still a bit wobbly and uncoordinated and having trouble feeding. So for the moment I'm trying to give him any exercise and stimulation I can, within his limits.

Any bats shown here in captivity are not pets, but protected wildlife in care under a rehabilitation permit. They are released when fit for life in the wild.
