In Part 4, Praxic Blade is acquired, and we close out the Renegades campaign as part of Glory Beyond.
After finishing the Renegades campaign in Destiny 2, it ultimately feels flat, no peaks or valleys.
The biggest strength by far is enemy density. Encounters are busy, aggressive, and constant, which creates some clenching moments.
Where the campaign falls short is in impact. There are no real wow moments. The story moves forward, but it never hits a peak that makes you stop and think, “That was something special.”
Cinematics are beautiful.
Overall, Renegades isn’t bad, but it’s just fine. Strong ad density carries the experience. Running routes to six different characters to progress is painful. Praxic Blade is cool. Maybe I didn't dive into the world abilities enough. Excited to see what comes next in Destiny.
