Day 3 of our Arunachal road trip began from Balukpong, the beautiful gateway to Arunachal Pradesh. Today’s destination — the peaceful and scenic Shanti Valley.
Our first stop was the breathtaking Sesa Viewpoint, where the mountains truly started welcoming us. Soon after, we entered the first tunnel of our entire Arunachal journey — and for me, my first tunnel experience ever! That moment felt special and unforgettable.
After crossing the tunnel, we refreshed ourselves at a serene local waterfall, surrounded by pure mountain air. We then explored a stunning hanging bridge over the Tenga River, an experience that added adventure to the day.
On the way, we also visited:
• Nag Mandir
• The famous Ball of Fire Museum location
• Passed through the scenic town of Dirang
Finally, by evening, we reached Shanti Valley and checked into a spacious and luxurious homestay. After a long yet beautiful journey, we enjoyed dinner, relaxed, and prepared ourselves for the next day’s mountain adventure.
Day 3 was a perfect mix of first experiences, scenic beauty, and peaceful mountain vibes.
