In a swift operation, Thally police near Hosur seized two country-made guns allegedly hidden by a 65-year-old man from a village near P. Soozha Gunda area.
Police received information that the weapons were being kept for hunting wild animals. Acting immediately, the police team led by the Sub-Inspector, along with special branch personnel, secured the accused and confiscated the firearms.
The timely action by Thally police has received appreciation from local residents.
Investigation is underway.
