i've also got this headcanon/idea that at some point masaomi develops a drug problem and the only person he can think to turn to is izaya. Although izaya has no interest in helping him, he goes along with it to watch how he reacts to events and his world crashing around him. He even supplies him for a time but then decides it'd be more interesting to watch masaomi's withdrawal and see him begging for help once again.

if i could write well and in character i'd totally write a fic but i can't write these two in character for the life of me, so all i can do is subtle hints at the idea in the amv lmao
